Pork & Beef Chili
Makes: 1 large pot

1 package Pine View Farms Ground Beef
1 package Pine View Farms Ground Pork
1 large onion
4 garlic cloves
4 cups Floating Gardens chopped tomatoes
2 cups chopped mushrooms
4 cans beans of choice (kidney, chickpeas, lentils, brown beans, black beans etc)
1 can corn (optional)
1 can tomato paste
4 cups chopped kale (rinsed and stem taken out)
1 tbsp Maple
1- 2 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
Himalayan salt Black Pepper
- Place a large pot on medium heat on the stove, add diced onion, garlic and ground meat.
- Once meat is browned either add to slow cooker with remaining ingredients (except kale), turn to low and allow to cook for 4-6 hours adding kale in the last 15 min
- OR… Add remaining ingredients (except kale) and cover. Allow to simmer for minimum 20 min or allow to simmer until ready to enjoy.
- In the last 10-15 min add in kale. Serve with bun, on rice, with noodles or all on its own! Top with sauerkraut or fresh herbs. Enjoy!
