This philosophy is so important to us and at the core of everything we do.

Knowing where our products are sourced allows us and our customers insight into how each animal has been fed and raised.

We follow our All Natural Protocol that states:

If you’re going to eat meat, make it really, good meat — every time

  • No additives or preservatives
  • No added water
  • Processed at the peak of freshness

To ensure the freshest product for our customers without relying on additives or preservatives, we cut and freeze our product the same day. This process maintains the integrity of the product, leaving all of the nutrients, proteins, minerals and vitamins unaffected.

Because we don’t pump or inject our meat with added water and our beef is dry aged, less ice crystals form in the package and once thawed you’ll enjoy that ‘just like fresh’ taste.

Certified free range production.

We are certified through the On Farm Food Safety Assurance Program for Free Range Production to emphasize health, cleanliness and safety. This program has been granted recognition by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for promoting safe food production and animal welfare at the farm gate.

We are meticulous about our meat.

From animal welfare to food handling, shop cleanliness and refrigeration temperatures. An inspector, from the Ministry of Agriculture, is present during processing and looks at every single animal or bird to monitor to ensure we meet or surpass every aspect of animal welfare and food safety.

Most importantly, we are “customer verified”.

That is, you are welcome to come to our farm, ask questions, look around, and learn about the day-to-day activities of farming, craft meat cutting and sausage making.
