Sweet & Peppery Beef Pot Roast

1 tbsp Brown Sugar
Oil of choice
- Mix seasoning and sugar together.
- Massage into meat. In a large pan, heat oil. Sear each side of the roast until brown. Add roast to slow cooker and turn to low for 5 hours. Allow to rest about 10 minutes before slicing. Use drippings as a sauce with whatever side of your choosing!
