1 1/2 - 2 lb. Pine View Farms' ground beef 

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp cayenne

1 tbsp paprika

2 tsp oregano

2 tsp parsley

Homemade Donair Sauce:

1 cup soaked cashews*

1-2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp honey 

1/2 - 1 cup Water (start with 1/2 and decide how thick you like your sauce)

Salt & Pepper to taste

2 tbsp White or Apple cider vinegar

Homemade Flatbread:

 2 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup water (or milk)

1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine seasonings with the beef.
  3. Press into a loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. To make the donair sauce, combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy, adding enough water to get the consistency you desire.
  5. To make the flatbread, mix dry ingredients together, then add in wet ingredients. Knead the dough by putting the dough to a floured surface to knead for a few minutes, until it is smooth and no longer sticky. Add more flour if necessary. 
  6. To serve, thinly slice meat. Serve on pita or flatbread with Donair Sauce, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, lettuce etc.
