Springtime is all about nurturing new life and so it seems appropriate to share how we raise chickens. Maybe some of you are thinking about having a few birds around for eggs.
I don’t know about you, but my meal planning motivation goes in fits and spurts. Some weeks, meals flow effortlessly out of our kitchen, while other times, my cooking inspiration seriously lacks.
When the kids were younger, they would come home from school, plunk their backpacks on the floor (right in front of the door), heap their jackets on the bench, and the first question out of their mouths would be “What’s for supper?” Trigger.
On March 12, we had the opportunity to be a part of Go Local, an event coordinated by University of Saskatchewan Nutrition students.
